Their best selling duo – the Original Drinking Chocolate and the Seven Spiced Chai.

Grounded Pleasures have taken the finest cocoa and blended it with seven exotic spices, added a sprinkle of tea, then a dash of unrefined jaggery sugar. They mixed these ingredients with care until they were perfectly balanced, so that when they tasted the hot chocolate, it effortlessly danced across the tongue. They believe they have created the most superb, chocolatey-chai drinking chocolate around, their very special Grounded Pleasures Choc-Chai.

Do you offer Free Delivery?

If you spend $150 or more, we offer Free Delivery anywhere in Australia.

We also offer Free Local Delivery for orders $120 or more to Leura and Katoomba NSW.

Where do you deliver to in Australia?

We can deliver Australia-wide to any address, whether residential, business, a PO Box, or a Parcel Locker.

Can I send a parcel overseas?

We offer delivery Internationally to select countries. Once you've selected your items, please contact our office on (02) 4782 3975 or email [email protected] so we can calculate your shipping cost and process your order for you.

Certain products are not suitable for shipping overseas due to their fragile nature - you will receive a notification if this is the case.

Note that some countries may impose restrictions, or additional duties on certain imported products. Any duties, tariffs, taxes or additional costs imposed on the shipment and goods are the sole responsibility of the customer.

How long will delivery take?

Check your delivery location corresponding in the aside table to determine approximate transit time. Please also allow time for order processing (up to 5 business days).

When will my order be sent?

We endeavour to process and ship orders within 5 business days - though usually it will be less. If we believe there may be a delay in sending your order, we will contact you and advise.

As we make the vast majority of our 120+ products to order (so you get the most delicious product possible!) during peak busy periods, there may be slight delays on certain items. If this happens, we will be in contact with you.

Can the driver call-ahead, or deliver at a specific time?

Unfortunately, no. Australia Post do not offer call-aheads as part of their service. We are also unable to guarantee specific delivery windows, as this is determined by the delivery driver. Deliveries are made during normal business hours Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm, though during seasonal peaks (such as Christmas) deliveries may extend to 7pm and include Saturdays.

How can I track my order?

You can easily track your order by viewing your order history in your account. You will also receive email and texts with tracking information and updates on your delivery.

You can collect in-store from our Gourmet Gallery Katoomba, located next to our Bakery. View opening times here.

How to Prepare

How to Create the Perfect Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

One tablespoon of Grounded Pleasures drinking chocolate (or more for a richer, decadent experience)

One cup of good quality milk (dairy, soy, almond)

Directions

HEAT one cup of milk (dairy, soy, almond) over a low heat in a pan. Add one tablespoon of grounded pleasures drinking chocolate and whisk vigorously until the chocolate dissolves and has reached the desired temperature.

ADD one tablespoon of grounded pleasures drinking chocolate to one cup of milk and stir until combined. Steam with a milk brother until silky smooth.

ICE your grounded pleasures drinking chocolate with ice blocks or cold milk. Stir one tablespoon with a small amount of water into a paste. Pour into your cup of milk and stir. Consider adding cream or ice cream for a more decadent experience.

POUR, sip and savour the deep roasted hazelnut, butterscotch and caramel notes with an incredibly smooth but lively texture.
